| PlayOnline at Square Enix has just released info on the latest chocobo raising feature. Amongst these updates, there is an announced release to update the gardening system. Hello everybody! Over the last two months, a lot has been updated on this site. We are now actively accepting new gardeners to help with this project. As well, entries have started to come in from gardening volunteers. There is now a Basic Search engine available including the Legacy Search Engine. These two search engines will show all the recipes for items found in the database. Currently, the Legacy database contains more entries and hopefully, the current database will overtake it soon.
There is also a Vana'diel Clock available on this site. In addition, there is a new WAP section of this website that allows you to find top recipes for any harvestable item found in our database, via a mobile phone. If you don't have a mobile phone, you can also view the site using a WAP Emulator or with browsers capable of displaying WAP sites.
We have uploaded a pair of new blank data sheets that have a wider box for you to enter data in. Hopefully, things will be less packed together on that form for those that don't like the smaller boxes.

| The OGSD Project has been restarted! |

Greetings! The OGSD Project is now back with many new improvements. You will find that we have upgraded our forums, as well as redesigned the website to be more functional. There is also a new and better project policy in place for this project. All gardening data collected through the OGSD Project is made available for free and to the public community. I have temporarily disabled the legacy database in favour of implementing a new database, which will add some more tracking variables. The legacy database is not lost. Searches through the legacy database will be re-enabled as soon as possible. However, new entries into the legacy database had been phased out.
This project's main goal is to try and determine how the gardening system works in final fantasy xi online. To do this, we need your help. We need interested Gardeners to help us collect and submit gardening entries. If you are interested in helping our community grow, you can also help out as a Community Staff member on our forums. You can also help out by helping us maintain our gardening database and join us on our Database Support Staff. Whether you are a true beginner in gardening or an expert, the OGSD Project is the Gardener's meeting place!
Registrations are free and will always remain free. Database searches, theory engines and gardener accounts are all free. I will never charge anyone for any information contained within the OGSD Project. Currently, I work voluntarily and within my own free time to update and code this web site. Any suggestions, comments and/or if you want to help out in some way, please feel free to PM me on the forums to Katherine. I hope this community will grow and become self-supportive. Most importantly, I hope we can soon decode the gardening system within final fantasy xi. Sign up for a free forum account today!
